While riding their scooters around the house one evening, Little Niv., Kuki’s five-year-old playmate, announced to no one in particular, “My daddy keeps kissing my mommy. On the lips!”
(Note her use of the present continuous tense to show that the activity is a recurring one.)
Perhaps that’s why Niv.’s parents, the charming Krishnans, constantly bemoan the lack of time in their busy lives.
P.S.: My own humans suffer from no such distractions, of course, but still claim to be crazy busy.

Hey terri - i didn't quite get the import of the above - does it mean that the said behaviour is desirable and hence should be encouraged or that it ain't desirable so it should not be indulged in?
visitor, I'm all for public display of affection between spouses. No harm in kids watching their parents hold hands, exchange hugs, kisses, etc.
